Dr. Robert E. Wubbolding, Pd.D., received his doctorate from the University of Cincinnati in 1971. He was a high school teacher and counselor, elementary school counselor, and counselor at a halfway house for female ex-offenders. He is professor emeritus at Xavier University, director of training for the William Glasser Institute, and director of the Center for Reality Therapy. A psychologist and counselor, he has written 10 books on reality therapy including the most comprehensive text Reality Therapy for the 21st Century and over 120 articles and essays about reality therapy and other topics. He has adapted reality therapy to the stages of recovery from addictions, to multicultural counseling. As an international instructor, he has taught reality therapy in Asia, Europe, the Middle East as well as North America.
